This is a fixed term, full time position commencing August 2025 up until August 2026 with possible extension.
Program Kaartdijin (Program) has been established to implement a functionality fit, technologically robust solution to replace the current Student Information System (SIS). The Program aims to provide a contemporary administrative and finance solution connecting people, processes and systems for school communities now and into the future.
The Role
If successful, you will maintain current knowledge and understanding of Australian equivalent to the International Reporting Standards (AIFRS) and Treasurer’s Instructions in order to prepare the Budget Statements.
The Senior Budget Officer is an integral member of the Program Kaartdijin team with responsibility for daily processing and recording of program expenditure, monthly preparation of finance reports for the Program Board and preparation and maintenance of the programs financial forecast against the approved Business Case.
As a Senior Budget Officer you will be a motivated finance professional with significant accounting and budgeting experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in government reporting of financial data is preferable, but your capacity to effectively apply analytical and financial modelling skills is essential.
