We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Secondary Generalist  - Big Picture Learning for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

First opened as Maddington Senior High school in 1978, the school became a middle school in 2000 and was renamed Yule Brook College. In 2020 the Minister for Education announced the return of senior schooling in 2022 using the Big Picture Education design.

Since 2008 we have used the Big Picture design to provide a personalised learning plan based on each student's interests and passions. The Advisory class is an integral part of our school structure and students develop a strong bond with their class and teacher.

The Role

We're searching for exceptional Generalist Secondary Teachers - Big Picture Learning, who are ideally passionate about fostering holistic student development across a diverse range of subjects. You should be more than just a teacher; you're a dynamic and adaptable educator ready to make a significant impact on young lives.

We're ideally looking for versatile teachers who are comfortable with a combination of subjects from English, Science, Mathematics, and Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS). You don't need to be an expert in all of them, but your flexibility and adaptability are key. If you also have skills in the Arts or Technologies, that's a definite bonus!

  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
