The Role
Ridge View SC is ideally seeking an experienced, strategic, inspiring, and innovative leader to be considered for the position of Deputy Principal. Our college embraces our motto of ‘Believe’, ‘Aspire’ and ‘Pride’, and we are looking for a college leader who should promote these core values.
Similarly, the successful applicant should display a broad range of skills and a deep understanding of the Deputy Principal role. Specific areas of responsibility will be negotiated based on the applicants strengths and skills set. Ideally, you will build and maintain collaborative, respectful partnerships across the school and wider community, and bring evident motivation, energy, and flexibility to the role.
As part of a high-performing team, you should draw on your adaptable skills and broad knowledge to lead across a negotiated range of responsibilities. These may include strategic oversight of Student Wellbeing and Engagement (SWAE), leadership in Senior School pathways, teaching and learning, culturally responsive pedagogies, staff development, and key college wide operational processes and procedures. Your work should complement and enhance the collective, college-wide impact of the other Deputy Principal roles.
The successful applicant will ideally display outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to achieving exceptional educational outcomes for all students. These capabilities should support effective, positive interactions and the development of strong relationships with staff, students, and the wider community.
