Gilmore College is an Independent public school which opened in 2008 continuing 52 previous years of secondary education provided by Kwinana Senior High School. The school continues the education of students from within the City of Kwinana area primary schools. The Role

The Program Coordinator assumes a pivotal role, working closely with the Principal and the administrative team to shape the school's identity. Educational leadership is a key responsibility, involving the active development and promotion of the school's values, ethos, and priorities. The Program Coordinator champions a collaborative approach, encouraging not only staff but also volunteers and community members to actively share ownership of the school's vision and goals. This collaborative ethos extends to change management, where the Program Coordinator strategically facilitates the acceptance of change and identifies opportunities for improved service delivery.

Overseeing school operations, the Program Coordinator is instrumental in ensuring the effective operation of the school. This includes the delivery of the School Plan through decision-making, policy development, and the establishment of systems that align with the school's overarching objectives. Additionally, the Program Coordinator provides strategic direction for staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in professional performance. The Program Coordinator also plays a vital role in the daily management of staff and student well-being, potentially overseeing timetabling responsibilities.

Overall, the Program Coordinator serves as a key figure for educational leadership and operational effectiveness within the school.
