This is an exciting time for HSS and we’re looking for adaptable, motivated, and resilient people to join our growing team.

Before you read this job ad, please note, HSS can make reasonable adjustments to allow you to fully participate in the application and interview process. If this is relevant for you, please refer to the contact details under the ‘Application and Interview Support’ section of this job ad.

Your new role

We are seeking enthusiastic and suitably experienced environment Project Manager within the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) Environment and Release team.

This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for six months with the possibility of extension(s).

HRMIS Program

The HRMIS Program will replace WA Health's existing HR, payroll and rostering systems with a contemporary integrated solution as part of a key recommendation of the Sustainable Health Review and the WA Health Digital Strategy 2020-2030.

The new HR, payroll, and rostering solution, called HRplus, will transform the way pay, rosters and leave entitlements are processed for nearly 65,000 WA Health employees. The new solution will reduce many manual processes and paper-based HR forms, while providing employees with more options to securely access their payslips, leave and roster information at any time, including from their own devices.

Health Support Services (HSS) is leading the implementation of the HRMIS Program in partnership with all health service providers (HSPs) and other WA Health entities.

Your new role

As a member of the HRMIS Environment and Release Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering Environments to support the HRMIS solution Delivery.
  • Identifying, evaluating, implementing, managing and promoting the adoption of Release Management and Change Management tools, techniques and processes (including testing automation) for release and deployment.
  • Applying tools and techniques to support agile continuous delivery of quality ICT solutions for specific areas across the environments in line with release and deployment processes.
  • Leading the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages including assessment of risk across the environments.
  • Assessing and analysing release components and provides input to scheduling.
  • Liaising with business and IT partners on release scheduling and communication of progress.
  • Ensuring release processes and procedures are applied and that releases can be rolled back as needed.

If you thrive in a fast paced, multifaceted working environment, and possess strong organisational and analytical skills or project management skills, we would love to hear from you.
