Kent Street Senior High School (SHS) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Manager Corporate Services (AMCS) to join their team.

Kent Street SHS, located within 5 kilometres of the Perth CBD, is proud to be an Independent Public School. We cater for a diverse clientele, some who travel great distances to engage in our Approved Specialist Programs or reside at the Rotary Residential College located onsite. We also work as part of the Curtin Education Community to actively engage our local primary schools in the Victoria Park area.

The Role

The AMCS assists the Manager Corporate Services with the Schools Financial Performance, Promotions and Public Relations, Building and Assets, Human Resources, School and Student Administration and strategic operational input to the development of the school’s workforce and business plans. The successful applicant should assist the MCS to lead operational enhancement, financial planning, strategic budgeting and ensures our built school environment continues to be a well-resourced and engaging context for teaching and learning.

The AMCS will ideally have developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, process improvements, problems and solutions and the ability to provide input to the development, implementation and monitoring of business and strategic plans. You will ideally model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and use excellent interpersonal and communications skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff.

As the AMCS you would coordinate the provision of corporate services and operations aligned with school business targets and objectives and customer service principles and practices. You should design and implement procedures and processes which ensure financial integrity, recording, compliance, and reporting requirements of the school business operations.
