Your new role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably
experienced person for the role of Team Leader Goods In.
This is a Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time
appointment at various hours per fortnight with the possibility of
extension(s) and/or permanency.
As part of the Health Support Services (HSS) Procurement and
Supply Business Unit, the Team Leader Goods In is
responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading the day-to-day
operations of the stock receiving, receipting, put-away, and
replenishment functions at the State Distribution Centre (SDC).
This role ensures that all activities are carried out efficiently
and in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while
fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational
excellence. Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Lead and supervise the Goods In team to ensure timely and
accurate receiving, receipting, and put-away of stock.
- Coordinate daily workflows and resource allocation to meet
operational targets and SLAs.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, identifying
areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
