The Role
Munglinup Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood teacher to join our small, community-oriented school in a multi-age Kindergarten/Pre-primary setting commencing in Term 3, 2025.
This is a unique opportunity to live and work in a close-knit rural community, where your work has a direct and lasting impact on students and families. Our Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers participate in one ECE network collaboration day per term and a range of combined events, which supports student socialisation, staff professional growth and shared resourcing.
The successful applicant should ideally demonstrate strong organisational skills and effective planning, along with a deep understanding of high-impact teaching strategies for the early years. Knowledge of, or experience with, the Kindergarten Assessment Tool, Heggerty, DIBELS, Talk for Writing, Sounds-Write and Brightpath is preferred, though not essential. The successful applicantshould be able to communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and colleagues, contribute positively to the school culture, and engage meaningfully with the community. A proactive, flexible, and collaborative mindset is highly valued.
