The Role
Tuart Hill Primary School (PS) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic School Officer to assist in coordinating a diverse range of day-to-day administrative operations. Experience with Integris and RM Finance would be highly desirable for this role.
The successful applicant should be a professional and positive School Officer, with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. Ideally, you will exhibit a focus on teamwork, self-motivation, initiative. You should model excellence in customer and administrative support service delivery. This position would be suited to an applicant who possesses strong organisational skills in delivering and prioritising tasks when under pressure, has an eye for detail and high level of accuracy.
In this role you will provide assistance to the Manager Corporate Services with administering the financial resources of the school.
This may include:
- Undertaking account and GST coding, reconciliations, invoice processing and BAS/FREDA returns.
- Assisting with month-end procedures, including transporting receipts to the bank and ensuring data integrity.
- Collating figures for financial planning and budgeting.
- Assisting with the management of school assets, including assistance with the administration of out-of-hours use of school facilities, coordinating and negotiating maintenance and repairs and maintaining key registers and security system codes.
- Assisting with the induction and support of administrative school support staff, including the development of induction programs and materials for school support staff and the coordination of relief staff
- Administering the operation of school databases, records and management information systems
- Establishing ordering procedures for office consumables.
- Undertaking student-related activities, including providing information, advice and collecting documentation for enrolment of new students.
- Establishing practice and procedures to ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive material.
