The Role
Successful applicants will ideally have the sound pedagogical knowledge, instructional skills required to run high quality, targeted student programs and have a solid grasp of positive behaviour support. Successful applicants should also have sound organisational abilities and leadership skills. A positive team work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills are a large component of the role as is an ability to cater for the high support and diverse learning needs of students with disabilities. Effective and positive behaviour socialisation skills are highly desirable.
Successful applicants will ideally be motivated, practical, hardworking, innovative and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Sucessful applicants should pursue excellence in classroom teaching, in particular when working with students with high needs. Applicants who are motivated to build strong partnerships with students, families and colleagues are encouraged to apply.

- consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
