The Role
Coodanup College is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Program Coordinator: Inclusion to join their leadership team.
This role will ideally encompass a combination of responsibilities, including oversight of Learning Support—where the successful candidate will ideally coordinate the implementation of Special Educational Needs (SEN) for resourced students, Child Protection and Family Support (CPFS) involved students, and those enrolled in SEN-reported programs and Complex Behaviour Support. The ideal applicant will possess up-to-date, comprehensive knowledge of SEN and ensure that all practices are aligned with current legislation and frameworks such as the Disability Discrimination Act, Disability Standards for Education, Autism, Curriculum Reform Communities (CRC) guidelines, and relevant parliamentary reports. A deep understanding of student services principles is desirable, as the role involves leading the development of tiered, cohesive approaches to support student wellbeing, engagement, and learning across the College. This includes meeting the diverse needs of students, particularly those with complex challenges. The successful candidate will ideally also collaborate closely with classroom teachers and Learning Area Leaders to implement appropriate adjustments, which may include environmental changes, targeted interventions, assessment accommodations, and behavioural or social supports.

As the successful applicant you will ideally possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational and management skills to complement your outstanding leadership capabilities. You should have the capacity to develop innovative programs and review school processes where evidence-based decision making will be regular practice.
The successful applicant will ideally have display their capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff and the broader community. They should also be an agile leader who can communicate effectively and garner buy-in with staff. They should be committed to actively supporting the growth of the school’s positive culture. Skills and experience working in a pastoral care capacity is highly desirable
