We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Join the Corporate Services team at Hammond Park Secondary College!
As the first point of contact for our College, School Officers provide targeted administrative support and a high level of customer service. They use their communication skills, empathy, patience, problem-solving skills and knowledge of Department of Education policies/procedures to ensure every interaction is positive and every outcome is successful. Within the administration team, School Officers work collaboratively to address queries, problem solve and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
School Officers are responsible for administering business databases, building strong relationships and working towards set outcomes. They work to apply their knowledge in Department of Education policies, programs and platforms to assist where required. As such, experience in the use of key administrative software – such as the SIS Integris, RM Billing, RM Finance, Compass, Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) and Passtab would be considered as advantageous, but is not essential.
Roles within current our corporate services team include, but are not limited to: reception, student foyer (attendance), billing, enrolments, marketing/media, executive support, business support, human resources/relief, vocational education and training, library and student wellbeing (student services). We are seeking applications from individuals who can bring their flexibility, sense of humour, professionalism, organisational skills and attention to detail to join this team. Applicants should also be flexible to move between different administrative duties where required.
