The Role
To be successful in this role, applicants should be highly motivated, providing integral support to the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) in a wide range of business operations such as administration, financial and human resource management. Ideally, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously. The successful applicant should be able to effectively prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressure with high level accuracy and attention to detail, with a willingness to be flexible and provide support to the MCS. Having previous experience in the role of a MCS, will reflect positively in your application, but this is not a requirement.
In your role you will be supporting the MCS in the financial management of the school by undertaking financial planning, monitoring, research, reporting and analysis to meet established objectives and outcomes relative to the school’s business plan. Part of the role includes supporting the MCS with administering the school’s financial resources, including undertaking end-of-month procedures, checking for data integrity and collating figures for financial planning and budgeting. You will work closely with the MCS, independently and as part of the Executive Leadership team. The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal skills that promote inclusivity and cohesion in the workplace. A capacity to interact with empathy, while simultaneously developing and maintaining positive and professional relationships within our school community is highly desirable.
