This is a 12 month fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2025

Denmark Senior High School (SHS) is in the Shire of Denmark within the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Built on its current site in 2000, the school is set on 19 hectares of land one kilometre east of the town centre. The school provides a comprehensive Year 7 to Year 12 secondary school education to 420 students. The Role

The Network Support Officer is integral to maintaining and enhancing the school's Information Technology (IT) network, ensuring optimal performance to support both educational and administrative functions. This role encompasses overseeing the school's IT network to maximise educational and administrative outcomes, adhering to departmental asset management and security regulatory frameworks.

The successful applicant should provide comprehensive technical support and training to all users, including desktop and software applications, ensuring seamless access to systems and resources. Additionally, they should collaborate with administration to assess technical needs, contribute to system enhancements, and implement new systems through research and identification of appropriate IT resources.

The role may also involve implementing and maintaining data security strategies to ensure the integrity of educational and administrative data, liaising with the Department of Education's ICT Support as necessary to resolve complex technical issues, and engaging in a range of support networks to stay informed about best practices and emerging technologies.
