This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2025

Located in Hammond Park on Irvine Parade, the college opened in 2020 to Year 7 Students. We are now a full 7-12 college, preparing our foundation students for graduation. The college buildings include state of the art classrooms, a library, administration and extensive student services area. The college also features specialist facilities for performing and visual arts, science laboratories, food and textiles, design and technology workshops and a gymnasium. The cafeteria is the hub of the central precinct and provides indoor and outdoor seating, landscaped gardens and open spaces. Multipurpose courts and oval were also included in the first stage of the build.

The Role

The successful applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills who can foster positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including students, staff and community members. They should have the skills to collaborate with colleagues to create innovative learning opportunities for our students and contributes positively to our college culture.

Hammond Park Secondary College has an Instructional Framework, and a Performance Growth and Coaching Framework based on coaching and continuous feedback. The successful applicant should be willing to grow and learn our instructional approaches and be open to observations and feedback in a supportive culture of shared practice and learning from one another.
