The Role

We are seeking a teacher who pursues excellence in teaching languages, has high expectations, and who truly believe that all children can learn and be successful. Ideally, the successful applicant should exhibit a commitment to putting students first in their decision-making and provide purposeful and relevant learning experiences that cater for differentiated student learning needs as outlined in the Western Australian Curriculum. You will ideally deliver engaging and quality educational programs and believe that exemplary, evidence-based teaching practices lead to successful students and high standards of achievement.

You are encouraged to apply if you have a good understanding of the LOTE (Language Other Than English) Western Australian Curriculum - Japanese. As the successful applicant you should also possess the ability to plan for school improvement using and responding to all data sources, ensuring curriculum and pedagogical development is current and ongoing. Preferably, you will be flexible, adaptive and be able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and intentional teaching.

The successful applicant should be innovative and possess high quality teaching skills and knowledge. You will ideally be committed to ongoing professional growth and development, support current whole school processes and be a collegial, effective collaborator..
