
We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher – Early Childhood Education (ECE) for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. The Role
We are ideally looking for ECE teachers that embrace the evidence-based strategies in place across the school whilst ensuring National Quality Standards. When teaching in Kindergarten a specific Early Childhood qualification is required, and the teaching is encompassed within the Early Years Learning Framework. Suitable applicants in Pre-Primary to Year Two should have a strong understanding of the WA Curriculum and will ideally be able to use assessment data including On-Entry, Brightpath and PAT testing to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching programs, set targets and plan for differentiated learning opportunities for all students in their class.
Suitable applicants should be highly motivated and committed to raising literacy and numeracy achievement implementation of whole school approaches, including: explicit instruction, Heggerty, Cracking the Code, Talk for Writing, Differentiated learning, STEM and the integrated use of technologies.
Suitable applicants should use effective restorative practice and positive Behaviour Management classroom strategies. Applicants may use values and resilience teaching programs, including Six Kinds of Best and Highway Heroes that raise the social and emotional skills of students. They should create an effective, engaging, caring and inclusive classroom.
