
This is a six (6) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2025 - 0.6FTE in Health and Physical Education (HPE) and 0.4FTE in Mathematics

The Role
Lesmurdie SHS is seeking to appoint a passionate and innovative HPE and Mathematics teacher who ideally is responsive to change and who caters for the learning styles of future ready students. The successful applicant should have a proven ability to facilitate the development of independent and confident learners and be willing to join our team of like-minded professionals.
The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide students with the highest quality curriculum delivery and programs You should have thorough understanding of instructional and curriculum design and ideally be reflective in assessing the effectiveness of your teaching practice and able to cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment, underpinning our core value of respect. Specifically, you should be student and relationship focussed and able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning. You will ideally display your capacity to teach a range of abilities across a likely timetable of Lower School HPE and Year 12 General Mathematics.
