
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026 Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
We are looking for suitable applicants who ideally, possess a friendly, positive, and caring attitude. Suitable applicants will ideally, be self-motivated, organised, and display excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines both independently and in collaboration with other school support staff.
The School Officer is responsible for performing administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence, newsletters, notices, and various other materials. Suitable applicants will efficiently distribute and collect documents, forms, and mail, as well as handle the collection and receipt of funds in accordance with departmental procedures. Additionally, the School Officer assists in managing school property, which includes overseeing out-of-hours use of school facilities, coordinating and negotiating maintenance and repairs, and inducting visitors to the school.
Also, the School Officer assists to maintain school databases, ensuring the accuracy of record-keeping information systems. Attention to detail is essential and familiarity with Department of Education (DOE) software systems and packages is highly desired, particularly, experience with the Schools Information System (SIS), enrolments, faults, RM Billing, Compass, and Microsoft Office.

- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
