This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2025

Kelmscott Primary School (KPS) is a vibrant and community-minded school located in the foothills, catering to around 370 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. What sets us apart is not just our commitment to educational excellence, but the way we work together—with purpose, care, and clarity.

At the core of everything we do is the KPS Charter. This charter is more than a document—it is a shared agreement that defines how we operate as a team. It shapes our expectations, our decision-making, and how we treat one another. It ensures consistency, clarity, and a united approach to delivering the best outcomes for our students and our community.

At KPS, we see ourselves as a professional family. We support one another, celebrate successes together, and collaborate with trust and shared responsibility. We believe that the strength of our team directly impacts the success of our school—and we welcome those who want to be part of something bigger than just a job.

The Role

As the Manager Corporate Services, your central responsibility is to provide comprehensive oversight of the school's critical components, namely financial, physical, and human resources. In this role, you play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the school's operations. This involves supervising school support staff, guiding them in the meticulous administration of tasks related to financial management, asset maintenance, and human resource coordination. Your adept management ensures that the school's financial operations adhere to established standards and contribute to the overall success of the institution.

A core aspect of your role is to administer and report on the financial integrity of the school's business operations. This includes offering valuable input into financial planning and budgeting, where your insights play a role in ensuring the fiscal health of the school. Your strategic involvement in the development of Business and Marketing Plans, in collaboration with the Principal and the Executive Management Team, underscores your commitment to the school's long-term objectives.

Additionally, you’ll actively monitor the school's financial performance against these plans, emphasising a proactive and results-driven approach to financial management. Beyond the financial realm, your responsibilities extend to participating in committees and working groups, ensuring that your strategies align with both school-based and regional business targets, contributing to the broader success of the school.

At KPS, we’re looking for the right person, not just someone who fits a specific work fraction. We understand and value flexibility, and are open to applicants who may be seeking part-time or alternative working arrangements. Whether you’re looking to balance other commitments, returning to the workforce, or seeking a change in pace, we encourage you to apply. We’re committed to working with the successful applicant to establish a role structure that supports both school needs and personal circumstances.
