This is a permanent full-time position commencing July 2025
The Department’s Standards and Integrity Directorate within the Professional Standards and Conduct Division, is responsible for:
- Assessing and managing complaints
- Investigating staff disciplinary matters, including reportable conduct
- Conducting reviews, including those relating to child deaths
- Monitoring working with children check compliance, of departmental employees
- Delivering integrity education training across the department
- Identifying and managing serious misconduct risk associated with fraud and corruption
The Role

The Standards and Integrity Directorate is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual with relevant or transferable experience to join our Data and Intelligence team.
In this role, you will support outcomes by working with internal stakeholders to add value to their work assisting in evidence-based decision making. You will be required to scope, design and develop reports and dashboards to drive continuous system improvement. You will be responsible for developing and conducting rigorous testing processes, cleaning and normalising data sets, with skills and experience in the use of PowerBI and Microsoft Excel highly desirable. This position is ideal for someone who is confident operating in both manual and developing digital reporting environments and who is passionate about using data to support systemic change.
Your work will inform evidence-based decision-making, support misconduct prevention, and contribute to the strategic goals of the Directorate.
The successful applicant will initially report to the Principal Consultant, Standards and Integrity, and support a broad range of Directorate functions. As part of growth within the business area, the role may change reporting lines to work within a System Improvement and Oversight team by late 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of new functions and play a foundational role in shaping direction relating to data and intelligence.
