We are seeking to establish a pool of Library Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As a Library Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the library, provision of reference information and maintaining the environment and associated services of the school library to support the learning outcomes of students. The Library Officer also administers the library systems ensuring library records are up to date and library resources are maintained and processed so they are always accessible and available to students and staff.

Library Officer’s will ideally have outstanding customer service skills to provide library support to our school community, our leadership team and staff. You will work in partnership with staff to create a welcoming and vibrant library environment for students and families. A love of books and a sound understanding of library systems, processes and stocktakes would be highly desirable.
