Gingin District High School (DHS) is situated 85 kilometres from the CBD of Perth. Our catchment area is large - over 3000 square kilometres - and students come to school from a variety of backgrounds sometimes bringing complex social and behavioural issues to school. We have a record of success and innovation, leading all our students to achieve.

The Role
Our school is seeking an enthusiastic and capable teacher to join our school. This is a diverse and interesting position, with potential to work across the whole school. Working with our Leadership Team, you would help to build our Vocational Education program for secondary students and support students to maintain their pathway to Senior Secondary and WACE.
You will be able to demonstrate effective teaching practice, as described in the Department’s ‘Teach for Impact Strategy’ and the Gingin DHS ‘This is How We Teach and Learn’ framework. You will ideally be able to display flexibility, a collaborative work ethic and a professional level of resilience. Our staff take their commitment to students seriously but are also fun to work with!
The successful applicant may be timetabled at a required level to meet the needs of students.
