Corrigin District High School (CDHS) is situated in the Southern Wheatbelt and caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 10. The Role
The Deputy Principal assumes a pivotal role, working closely with the Principal and the Administration team to shape the school's identity. Educational leadership is a key responsibility, involving the active development and promotion of the school's values, ethos and priorities. The Deputy Principal champions a collaborative approach, encouraging not only staff but also volunteers and community members to actively share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
In this role, the Deputy Principal will assume responsibility for curriculum leadership and behaviour support in the Secondary school, as well as collaborating to deliver the current Business Plan, support development of a new Business Plan for 2026-2028 and ongoing policy development and review. This role requires a teaching load of approximately 0.6FTE (Health, Physical Education and Secondary Mathematics in collaboration with SIDE). Together with the Administration team and other staff, the Deputy Principal also plays a vital role in the daily management of staff and student well-being, potentially overseeing relief and behaviour management as required. This role requires excellent personal and written communication skills and the ability to use a range of ICT effectively in the school context.
