The successful applicant will ideally be a passionate, motivated and skilled educator who is committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies.

We are seeking a teacher with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills which underpin professional and positive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community. The successful applicant will become an integral part of this community partnership to support each child to reach their potential.

As a teacher at South Newman PS, you will work in a collaborative environment to improve student outcomes, reflect on your own performance, contribute to staff development, and support our distributed leadership structure. We highly value applicants who are committed to continuous improvement, shown by your willingness to accept and implement change and evident in your ability to lead initiatives at a phase of learning and/or school-wide level.
