The Role
We are seeking a passionate and flexible Creative Arts Specialist Teacher to join our dedicated team in a Kindergarten to Year 12 setting (K-12) setting, with a particular emphasis on engaging and inspiring students in the Primary years.
This role offers flexibility in the area of specialisation, and we welcome applications from educators with expertise in Music, Drama, or Visual Arts. The school has dedicated learning spaces for Creative Arts, is well-resourced with musical instruments and equipment and is supported by knowledgeable and supportive leaders who value the Arts.
Our school has a strong Aboriginal context, with approximately 93% of students identifying as Indigenous. As such, the successful applicant should be culturally responsive and committed to fostering inclusive, respectful, and engaging learning experiences that reflect and celebrate Aboriginal culture and perspectives.
In addition to delivering high-quality Creative Arts programs, the successful candidate will ideally contribute to whole school literacy support, working collaboratively with staff to enhance student outcomes across learning areas.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant, community-focused school. There is a possibility of extension beyond the initial appointment for the right candidate.
