This is a permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2025

Spearwood Alternative School (SAS) has a student population of just under 100 students kindergarten to year 6.

As School Officer you will work with the admin team in supporting the staff, students and families of SAS in our commitment to a nurturing, inclusive and responsive learning environment in which curious children will flourish and grow.  Relational pedagogy enriches a school culture built on restorative practices. Collective and collaborative care of our children encourages them to  being growth minded, open- hearted and brave spirits.

The Role

The School Officer is responsible for reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information in an efficient and friendly manner. They provide general clerical and administrative support, including preparing correspondence, newsletters, notices, and other materials in a timely manner.
