This is a six (6) month fixed term, part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2025 with possible extension.

Greenwood Primary School (PS) is multicultural with over twenty home languages spoken. We recognise and respect the cultures of all families. Greenwood PS is located in the northern suburbs of Perth. Our school consists of three, purpose-built early childhood rooms, two transportables and ten classrooms divided into three teaching blocks. There is a library/resource building which includes a computer laboratory and an additional block containing an undercover area, music room, and an art/science/languages room. A dental therapy unit is also located at the school.

The Role

The successful applicant will ideally be a collaborative team player with effective communication skills and the ability to form positive relationships with staff, students and parents. The successful applicant should have the ability to raise the profile of the Indonesian subject area and develop Year 1-Year 6 students understanding.

We are seeking applicants with exemplary teaching skills, who are highly motivated and hold themselves accountable to delivering best practice. You should also be able to work in an environment characterised by whole school connected practice, collaborative team structures and a strong commitment to professional growth.

A deep understanding of how to differentiate to meet the needs of all students will be highly regarded, as is the ability to use a variety of assessment tools to inform progress, enable constructive feedback and drive future planning at a classroom level.
