Joseph Banks Secondary College (SC) are seeking a passionate Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS).

Located approximately 27 km from Perth CBD, Joseph Banks SC is an Independent Public School serving students from Years 7 to 12. Our vision is to create a vibrant culture of excellence, innovation, and success for our students, staff, and community. We focus on quality teaching and providing diverse opportunities for individual achievement and learning success. We ensure that every student receives individual support and attention. The Role

We are looking for innovative and dedicated educators who thrive in a collaborative team environment. Suitable applicants will ideally provide engaging and purposeful learning experiences, fostering students’ skills, knowledge, and appreciation of contemporary, industry-linked opportunities. Our students engage in a range of HASS courses through middle and senior school. Senior school courses include ATAR level subjects as well as Certificates II and III in Business. The capacity to deliver Senior School courses is highly desirable.

At Joseph Banks Secondary College you will ideally:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
  • Engage and challenge students across Years 7 to 12, catering to varying ability levels.
  • Utilise problem-based and design-based learning approaches.
  • Displau strong knowledge and skills in delivering Senior Secondary courses (highly desirable).
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external networks.
  • Commit to ongoing professional learning and development.
