The Role
BSC is seeking a passionate and committed Education Support Teacher to join our enthusiastic, inclusive and student-focused team. The Education Support Teacher role is a key position within the Access and Inclusion program, aimed at promoting equity and academic success for all students.
The Education Support Teacher will work collaboratively with the Program Coordinator – Learning Support and the Program Coordinator – Specialist Learning Program – Autism to identify and address barriers to learning. This includes individual planning and the delivery of targeted supports, such as literacy and numeracy interventions for small groups, as well as providing tailored support for students with complex needs
A key aspect of the role will be working with diverse student populations and requires strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents/carers, service providers, and Statewide Services.
