
We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream - Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. The Role
As an Education Assistant - Mainstream, the suitable applicants will ideally be passionate for working with students and possess highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills. We are seeking candidates who are committed to achieving the best educational outcomes for our students. This role involves working as part of a dedicated team and offers the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community. Flexibility is important, as you may work across a range of classrooms.
We seek enthusiastic team members who can adapt tasks to meet student needs, reflect on their practice, and are open to observation and feedback to guide their professional growth. Collaboration with staff to support and monitor student progress is essential, and your contributions will be valued.
Suitable applicants will ideally be organised and proactive in assisting with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment. This includes maintaining equipment, materials and resources for classroom use, as well as assisting with displays and ensuring the safe storage and cleaning of items after classes and activities. The suitable applicants will also support the teacher in supervising students during out-of-class activities and on school excursions.
