The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced deputy principal to join our dynamic leadership team. The successful candidate should be a highly collaborative professional who will work closely with the administration team to support a unified, strategic approach to school leadership.

This role ideally requires someone with a displayed track record of leading initiatives that improve student outcomes. They will ideally bring deep pedagogical knowledge, the ability to lead school improvement, and a passion for creating inclusive, high-impact learning environments. 

We are looking for a team player who ideally:

  • Builds and sustains positive, respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Works collaboratively with fellow leaders to foster a cohesive, supportive school culture.
  • Leads with integrity, empathy, and a clear focus on student success.
  • Displays strong instructional leadership and a commitment to evidence-informed practice.
  • Leads teaching teams to analyse data and implement effective teaching practices with the goal of improving student outcomes.

Experience in and knowledge in the following areas is also desirable:  

  • The Future Leaders Framework.
  • The Quality Teaching Strategy including Teaching for Impact.
  • Early Years including NQS and EYLF.
  • Leading inclusive education practices.

Experience in and knowledge of our whole school programs would be advantageous. These include, Positive Behaviour Support, Classroom Management Strategies, Talk for Writing, PhOrMeS and Oxford Mathematics.
