We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Languages for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the beautifully landscaped suburb of Piara Waters, approximately 25kms south of Perth. The school is surrounded by luscious greenery and forms part of the vibrant, multicultural community of Piara Waters. The school commenced with Year 7 students in 2023 and presently has Year 7, 8 and 9 cohorts. Each year the school adds to its growing cohort, until it reaches Year 12 in 2028.

The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally display their proven impact on student success through curriculum delivery and pedagogical practices of various languages. We are seeking a pool of highly skilled teachers who have a detailed knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and the skills to engage students in learning of different languages. Suitable applicants will ideally possess expertise in planning and pedagogy to deliver various language lessons, providing a positive learning environment where students are inspired and motivated to learn. The languages of French and Indonesian are highly valued.

Suitable applicants should be passionate, motivated, and skilled educators who are committed to improving learning outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies. They will ideally be committed to ongoing professional growth and development, support current whole school processes and be collegial, effective collaborators.
