
We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaner for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Victoria Park Primary School is an inner city school situated near the Swan River in Victoria Park, some five minutes from the city. The school was opened in 1894 making it one of the oldest built by the Department of Education. Due to its historical significance the buildings at Victoria Park Primary School have been heritage listed by the Heritage Council.

The Role
Suitable applicants will be friendly, welcoming and able to work well both individually and as part of a small team to carry out internal cleaning duties, in accordance with the Department’s procedures. The duties include the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, drinking troughs and other items of general cleaning, successful applicants would also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning and other such duties as required.
