Payroll Officer (0.6 to 0.8 FTE – 45 hours to 60 hours per fortnight)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team to ensure the smooth delivery of payroll services for our casual workforce. This is a dynamic position that touches all aspects of the payroll process from employee commencements and terminations to leave, allowances, tax, and beyond.
As our Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of payroll functions including allowance payments, employee occupancy, terminations, facilitating timesheet payroll data, pay distribution including bank, ATO and general ledger files. This is a hands-on role that supports the payroll team playing a vital part of making sure our people are paid correctly and on time.
If you’re a payroll enthusiast who likes to keep systems running smoothly while enjoying the flexibility to thrive at work and at home this could be the role for you. People & Culture Officer (0.8FTE - 60 hours per fortnight)
We are also on the lookout for a People & Culture Officer who is looking for a position with a lot of variety and opportunities to learn new skills. We are a small team that thrives on getting stuck into to varying levels of HR services here at ACT.
In this role you will deliver transactional HR services, with the added opportunity to deliver projects and improvements. This is ideal for someone who enjoys the satisfaction of delivering services that make an immediate impact for customers, but doesn’t want to be boxed in to doing the same thing every day.
Maybe you’re a few years into your HR career and would like the chance to broaden your experience?
Maybe you’ve been in HR for a while and have some great ideas on how to deliver HR services better?
Perhaps you are brand new to your HR career but have great experience delivering business services so can bring a different perspective?
This position could be worked as four days per week, or part time hours spread across the week.
