The opportunity
We’re looking for a dynamic communicator to join our high performing Strategic Communications team. As a Strategic Communications Advisor, you'll play a key role in shaping clear, consistent and engaging content that connects with our people, customers, and community. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with the energy and drive to deliver smart, impactful campaigns, while working closely with stakeholders and the Strategic Communications team to ensure messaging is unified, purposeful and on point.
What you’ll do…
- Deliver communications that inform, inspire and engage stakeholders – using a mix of channels including intranet, face to face, email and events.
- Plan and delivery employee engagement campaigns in partnership with key stakeholders and business unit leaders, supporting change, culture and strategic priorities.
- Create engaging content from weekly internal features to leadership messages, ensuring clarity consistency and alignment with Landgate’s tone and values.
- Coordinate internal and external events, including Townhalls, ensuring seamless delivery and strong participation.
- Support strategic projects and initiatives providing expert communication advice, messaging support and tactical execution across a range of channels.
- Support proactive and reactive media activity, drafting media statements and talking points and assisting in the coordination of responses to media enquiries.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism or related field, and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging content for a range of audiences and channels.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships and collaborate across teams.
