About The Role
As an Education Officer Level 2, you will play a key role in shaping the future of WA’s public education system. You will develop and deliver high-quality programs, resources, and professional learning initiatives that support student success and wellbeing. You will provide support to schools to implement evidence-based strategies to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
In this role, you will, in collaboration with a team:
- Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning resources
- Deliver professional learning programs that support educators and school leaders
- Provide expert advice to schools to enhance student achievement and wellbeing
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive educational reform and best practices
- Contribute to policy development and monitor the impact of education initiatives
About You
Statewide Services provide services and support to schools. As such your recent classroom knowledge, experience, skills and expertise will be important to inform the design, development and delivery of key system initiatives and projects.
With strong communication and collaboration skills, you can engage effectively with schools, teachers, and key stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
To be able to meaningfully contribute to the successful delivery of key system initiatives and projects, you will:
- Hold a teaching qualification and be eligible for teacher registration in WA
- Have experience in developing and delivering professional learning programs
- Be knowledgeable about evidence-based teaching strategies and education reform
- Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to support school improvement
- Be able to build strong relationships and provide expert guidance to educators
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills
- Be able to engage effectively with schools, teachers, and key stakeholders to drive meaningful change.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- hold a recognised qualification in teaching and be currently registered or eligible for registration to teach in Western Australia
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
