This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2025

Beeliar Primary School (PS) is a Level 5 Independent Public School with a school population of approximately 500 students. We cater for a diverse population of students, including 10% Aboriginal students.

The successful applicant will be responsible for promoting and teaching a high quality Physical Education program to students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Physical Education Teacher should teach students the skills, knowledge and concepts within the Western Australian curriculum and develop students’ enjoyment of physical activity.

The Role

We are looking for a Health and Physical Education primary teacher who possess exemplary teaching skills in Health and Physical Education. The successful applicant will ideally be passionate, motivated, and skilled educators who are committed to improving outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching, and instructional strategies. In addition, you will provide an inclusive and differentiated learning environment that fosters learning and development of the whole child. The successful applicant should pursue excellence in teaching and have high expectations for themselves, their students and their colleagues.

At Beeliar PS we value collaborative practices and work together in collaborative teams to develop and deliver consistent, high-quality teaching and learning programs Ideally, applicants would have experience in using Kiddo as an assessment and planning tool.

Beeliar PS values it’s connection to our network and community. At Beeliar we aim to develop authentic partnerships with our community members and local network schools. The ideal applicant would foster connections with community groups, network schools and our parent community members to foster engagement and a love of sport for our students. The successful applicant would be a leader within our school planning community sporting events for our students each term through our carnivals and other sporting opportunities that arise.
