The Role

BCC is seeking a talented, hardworking, dedicated, and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher. Ideally, the successful applicant will have a proven ability to provide high-quality learning experiences for all students and be willing to join our Technologies team.
As the successful applicant, you should be highly motivated, student and relationship-focused, and able to provide engaging, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences. You will utilise innovative initiatives and work effectively within a dynamic team. This may involve reflecting on and assessing the effectiveness of your teaching practice and cultivating a safe learning environment. With effective interpersonal skills, you should work closely with students, teachers, and the community to instil rigor, resilience, and pride, enabling students to achieve their full potential.
The successful applicant will be provided the opportunity to work in our Technology Team across Years 7 – 12. You will show an ability to cater for a diverse range of student learning needs. A proven ability to successfully teach year 11 and 12 courses is highly desirable. We are looking for committed teachers who know they can make a difference and will support the school’s vision and future direction. It would be advantageous to have the ability deliver the Nationally Recognised Certificate Qualification in Engineering, however not essential.
