We are seeking to establish a pool of Gardener – Handyperson for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Madora Bay Primary School is situated in the beautiful beachside suburb of Madora Bay and opened its doors to students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in January 2023.

The Role

As a key member, you will be instrumental in maintaining the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy and conducive to a positive environment for both staff and students. From overseeing the turf areas, garden beds and shrubs to managing hard landscaping features like courts and paving, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting and inspiring outdoor space.

Suitable applicants will ideally perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested, as well as other Gardener-Handyperson duties in accordance with the Department’s policies and guidelines.  You should ideally also possess good interpersonal skills, along with the ability to receive and carry out instructions as required.
