The Role
Ballajura CC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their team.
The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills and be relationship focused, and able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning. You should be innovative, knowledgeable and understand instructional curriculum whilst keeping abreast of the latest developments within the Mathematics Learning Area. You should also be reflective in assessing the effectiveness of your teaching practice and able to cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment.
You will ideally support the implementation of the college’s Business Plan, work and teach in a team environment, be committed to whole College approaches and initiatives, and have a strong evidence-based approach to teaching. The successful applicant should have experience in a wide range of teaching models and differentiating the curriculum. Adopting inclusive practices, building positive relationships with students, staff and the community are important components of the role. Applicants will ideally have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to teach students of varying ability levels across Years 7 to 12 in a highly engaging manner.
