The Role
As a key member of the college leadership team, you will work closely with the principal/executive team, contributing to the implementation of the college Business Plan through participative decision making, whilst promoting the college vision and strategic directions. Through proactive, supportive and collaborative leadership, you will drive improvement and leading by example, model high expectations and aspirations of staff and students.
In your capacity as a curriculum leader, you will ideally play a crucial role in continuing to develop and support your team of teachers through performance development, develop and lead curriculum planning in line with SCSA requirements and working collaboratively to foster a culture of high quality teaching and learning is delivered to meet the needs of students. You will ideally have the ability to lead change and innovation and use evidence-based data to inform decision making. You will be responsible for the analysis of performance data related to the Health and Physical Education learning area and the development, implementation and analysis of improvement plans, both operational and strategic., and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the school's academic community.
A key aspect of your role may involve implementing change management strategies to lead the school community in accepting and developing opportunities for improved service within your specified subject area.
