
We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principal for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
One permanent, full-time position will be immediately filled from the process. Starting time will be negotiated.

The Role

We are seeking applicants with expertise and experience in either the Student Services and/or Curriculum portfolios to fill vacancies as they become available.
The first appointment from this pool will fill the vacant Student Services role. We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Principal with strong, open and clear communication skills to lead our growing Student Services Team. Using a case management approach, the Deputy Principal will lead this team to support the individual needs of students of the SAER register and report directly to the school executive. Applicants with a proven track record of leadership within the Student Services portfolio will be highly regarded for the appointment of this initial position.
Successful applicants should also be able to demonstrate evidence of:
- Building the capacity and effectiveness of both teaching and non-teaching teams
- Coaching middle leaders through the early stages of their leadership journey
- Leading change management initiatives from inception through to implementation with fidelity
- Using data and evidence-based practices to inform strategic decision-making
- Establishing meaningful partnerships within the wider community to create enriched learning opportunities for students and staff, while also giving back to the community
- Challenging the status quo of traditional school leadership to lead with purpose, direction and innovation.
