The Role
As a Student Wellbeing and Support Officer, the successful applicant should have a desire to improve the wellbeing, resilience and pro-social behaviours of students. By working in partnership with the Student Services team the ideal applicant would prioritise and deliver individual, small group and whole-school programs and strategies.
Ideally, the successful applicant should have experience in enhancing student learning outcomes by identifying and establishing support networks for students with staff and the school community.
The successful applicant should have the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, delivering a high standard of evidence-based care to young people in a school context. The successful applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, carers and the wider school community in which we serve.

- Demonstrated negotiation, mediation and conflict resolutions skills with relevant experience working with students who require support.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team without direct supervision.
- Demonstrated effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities within timelines.
