
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officer’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Coolbellup Community School (CS) is looking to appoint a dedicated and hard-working School Officers.
As a School Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our school. Ideally, you will be experienced, have a friendly, positive, and caring attitude; be self-motivated and organised. The suitable applicants will work as part of the office team in a busy school environment. You should be an efficient, innovative, and enthusiastic team member able to work within a shared office, both collaboratively and independently, with minimal supervision. You ideally will possess the flexibility to move between tasks and be calm under pressure.
Along with management of enquiries, student enrolments and maintenance of student records, School Officers work collaboratively with the Manager Corporate Services, administrative staff, and the wider school community to support and administer the schools financial and physical resources. Responsibilities in these roles will include assisting with financial processes.
As School Officer, you will manage and administer the operation of school databases, records and management information systems and parent communication. Experience in operating a range of software packages, particularly databases and word processing and a knowledge of the Student Information System (SIS), Compass and RM Finance would be desirable. A positive approach to the role and readiness to learn new skills and contribute to the efficient running of the school office is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
