The Role
The Associate Manager Corporate Services assists the Manager Corporate Servies working predominantly with Finance, Building and Facilities management, (including OH&S) and Human Resources. The role supports the Manager Corporate Services to lead operational enhancement, financial planning, strategic budgeting and ensures our college environment continues to be a well-resourced, well maintained, safe and engaging environment for teaching and learning. The successful candidate will bring their experience and knowledge in all the above areas, including operational knowledge of the following school information and financial management systems: RM Finance, RM Billing, RM Asset Manager, Compass, Flex purchase and Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS).
Relevant experience in End of Month, End of Calendar Year and Financial Year reporting is required, as is a thorough understanding of Procurement in the Government and Schools systems. This position requires a flexible team player with sound communication skills and a thorough understanding and operational knowledge of the relevant systems (as outlined above) and policies required to maintain, monitor, analyse and extract information from these systems. The Associate Manager Corporate Services will be responsible for overseeing the finance team and ensuring they are compliant with financial procedures.
This role reports to and works closely with the Manager Corporate Services, including planning and decision making with a high focus on strategy and operational improvement. Our Corporate Services structure is devolved with day-to-day management undertaken by various staff portfolios and escalated to the Associate Manager Corporate Services and Manager Corporate Services when required.
