The Role

Be the Backbone of Our School’s Operations!

As the face of the school and the first point of contact for parents and community members upon entering the school, setting the tone for a welcoming, professional and supportive environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented School Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to the smooth financial and administrative operation of our school, ensuring resources are managed efficiently so that students and staff can thrive.

As a School Officer, you’ll play a vital role in:

  • Overseeing financial processes, including account and GST coding, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
  • Supporting financial planning and budgeting by collating key figures that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Managing school assets, including coordinating facility use, maintenance and repairs, and security systems.
  • Assisting with administrative support.

Proficiency in school administration software such as Integris, (RM) Billing, and RM Finance will be highly regarded. Additionally, as Illawarra Primary School enters Phase 1 of the Kaartdijin project in Term 3, experience with Kaartdijin or Compass is desirable but not essential.
