This is a permanent full-time (1.0FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2025

Exmouth District High School (DHS) seeks a full-time School Officer to collaborate with our administrative team.

The Role

The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive team environment and thrive in a busy school office. We are looking for someone who is eager to make a difference, flexible, solution-focused, and capable of providing innovative and collaborative solutions to business needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanour, are highly desirable.

The successful applicant will ideally have full knowledge of student enrolments, overseeing, coordinating, and negotiating maintenance and repairs, and maintaining key registers. You will be responsible for providing accurate advice and support to parents, students, staff, and community members, using your sound communication skills. Within the parameters provided by the school administration team, you should maintain school databases, records, and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date while ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive material.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in providing effective customer service and the ability to use a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets, and word processing. Proficiency in Compass and RM Billing is desirable. Knowledge of Finance processes such as procurement and reconciliation of corporate cards would also be an advantage.

Experience in office duties in a busy school environment, a confident phone manner, and a friendly and positive attitude are highly regarded. Strong attention to detail, accurate data entry, and the ability to work well within a team environment are also highly valued.

Exmouth DHS is proudly an Independent Public School with approximately 530 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
