We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

At Fairview Primary School (PS), we strive to provide a rich learning environment, to inspire all children to achieve their personal best, both academically and socially. We do this by working hard to achieve our school motto of ‘A fair view of all things’ and following our ethos of ‘CARE’. ‘CARE’ is central to our practice at Fairview PS and is the basis for the language of our school: At Fairview PS we Cooperate, we strive to Achieve, and we show Respect and Enthusiasm.

As an Independent Public School, part of the Western Australian Department of Education, we use the autonomy the system provides us to best meet the needs of our students. A point of difference for our school is our whole school pastoral care and literacy focus. Skills and strategies to engage in our social world are actively taught. Positive behaviour is the expectation, and inevitable conflict is managed through restorative practices. We believe that no child will achieve to their potential unless learning occurs in a nurturing environment by people who care. We pride ourselves on having a calm, caring and respectful school.
