The Role

As School Officer you should be the first point of contact for our school and should be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information. The succesful applicant will ideally have a friendly, positive and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community.

As School Officer, the successful applicant will undertake reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information, in an efficient and friendly manner. The successful applicant will assist with the maintenance of school facilities, assets and resources, including reporting faults, organising repairs, assisting with stock takes and updating the asset and resources registers.

The successful applicant will ideally provide effective and accurate general clerical and administrative support, including preparing correspondence, newsletters, notices and other materials, in a timely manner. As the succesful applicant, you will ideally assist the Manager Corporate Services with the induction and training of school support staff and financial processes.
